Coachella postponed due to coronavirus

The North American festival is one of the largest in the world.

The promoter of the event announced the postponement of Coachella because of the worldwide impact of the new coronavirus.

This year’s edition of the festival would take place on April 10-12 and April 17-19 in Indio, California, USA.

It has now been postponed to the weekends from 9th to the 11th and from 16th to 18th of October.

“This decision comes in times of uncertainty, but we take the safety and health of our guests, our team and our community very seriously”, the statement said.

This edition features names such as Rage Against the Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean.

Tickets will be valid for October, and there is also a chance that festival-goers will be reimbursed.
